Army Painter Spray

In between packing today I was priming some figures with the Army Painter Pure Red spray primer. Half of the figures had been previously primed black and I was re-priming them to use the Red spray as a basecoat. The primer went down very well and once dry there was no loss of detail. Even the miniatures that were previously primed black came out looking very good.

I was quite impressed with it and am looking forward to trying out the other colours in the range when I need a coloured primer/basecoat.

  1. How does this compare to your somewhat recent Krylon camouflage paint you used a primer?

    1. It goes on lighter and takes a few more layers to get a complete coat on the models. It also seems to lose less surface detail but not significantly.

In really liked it and am certainly going to be using it again
